Rajan Advani was one of Ash’s software developer coworkers at Ubliquo International back on Earth.
Also, they were apartment neighbors. That’s how Ash got her Ubliquo job in the first place—she met Rajan shortly after moving in, found out he worked in the field she was aiming for, and convinced him to convince his boss to give her a chance. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Ash really hopes Rajan is doing okay back on Earth. They weren’t exactly close, but still—he was a good guy. Hopefully he’s doing okay.
